    Has a bendix-westinghouse air brake gauge on the dash (sorry for the crappy pics)

    i have the vin if that would help...and thanks mike i think you are dead on on the date range.
     
  7. The first four charicters are the year and model D2 would be 52 D1 would be 51 the first 2 are the model f1 ect

    would be a 1952 F8?

    fenders are still in debate (as finding them has proven to be difficult), the paint is remining orig. (i can't bear to cover the hand done lettering). it was the best $250 I have ever spent
     
  12. That and the brake controller says F8. I don't yet understand the 3rd charicter but the2 is 52, this is fun, now lets figure out the build date:D

    "5 Star" cab with the bright trim & big backlight. Hood had "Big Job" emblems on sides. Came with OHV Lincoln, probably Dayton wheels.
