    I like these:

Original Austin housings and lenses, marked "King of the Road" on top. Matching turn signal lights also KOFTR marked. Both converted to 12v.

I am in the process of converting mine to run an H4 bulb Halogen....I hope it helps some..the fluting in the lenses and the curve of the reflector (combination of both) dont lend them selfs to being the best design as far as lights go, but it should help.
I think thats why you see some A's running a secondary set of driving lights if they do a lot of night driving

shitty picture, i know.. but i like the old ford originals

I put these BLC`s on my car....nice size and shape.

I had these beauties on a previous project...they were Marchel (?).. the art deco trim on the top looked neat....they were almost like `36 Ford.

I always wonder how many people notice the
t-3 sealed beams in my roadster. Not many I bet.

I agree with Blitz. '36 are the nutz! When you can get good ones. BLC with painted trims are a close second. Also I still love '34 commercials on the right car. Once again it's all back to "on the right car".

Mine were old British headlamps and housings. Couldn't find anything that fit the rusty sockets. I went to the local wrecking yard and cut the reflector/socket area out of a newer car with halogen headlights, then came home and carefully cut the socket portion out of my reflectors. After that I trimmed the donor reflectors down and using JB Weld I epoxied them into the back of my reflectors. Then for good measure I pop rivetted them in 4 places just to make sure they'd stay forever.
Also converted the matching turn signals to 12v. LED internals. Original internals were rusted too bad to save.
Now I just grab the bottom latch, swing the lense open and unplug the halogen to replace a lamp. Nice and bright, and easy to work on too, but kept the stock housings!

If I were sure I would have included it. I'm not a numbers guy. They are Guides I'm pretty sure because the rings are from a Chevy truck supplier but I don't think that there is a particular make or model truck to search out to find them. They were on a vendors table and missing one ring. I liked them because they seem to me to be longer and more pointed than most of the Guides that I've seen.

The green ones on my 34 P/U are B L Cs

I like and have Guides. I bought a dual element kit to install in my parking lights for turn signals also. I got the kit from O.T.B.

I really like BLCs. (Reefer's with the painted rims look perfect!)

I've run King Bees on a couple of cars too. I just mounted these real King Bees to one of those So-Cal bars.

I bought these on Ebay about a year or so ago, they were listed as "1932 Arrow headlights". They have "BLC sealed beam" on the glass lens. They still have the old style bulb in them and a little bulb on top. I think they are really cool but I dont know much about them......

    BLC 904 A
found some in the classifieds, mine dont have the BLC tag on the top , just BLC HEAD LAMP stamped on it.

    Read the 4th paragraph at;
    http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/hotnews/0805rc_may_2008_rappin/index.html

    (I didn't know either.)

I like the Guide sealed beams, King Bee's and Deitz lights. Those are the "traditional" post-'40 "hotrod headlights". Everyone wanted and used sealed beams if they could get them.
Those big-ass Model A, B other makes, and even through-36 lights weren't considered "hotrod lights" until the late 60's when guys started putting them back on "Resto-Rods" to make them look as stock as possible.
