Anyone know what the story is with the cars sitting in the field and trees along I-81 at about mile post 61 on the north bound side?
I can't believe you Va. guys aren't all over this. Post up some pics if you find them and get the story. Don't make us Maryland HAMBers come down there and do your detective work for you......Thanks, Don.
Man, I have been by there several times and missed those. Guess I will have to look better next time. How about some pics? Anybody?
Well, it is a good shot off the highway , I zoomed the lens in as far as I could , and I inquired about them , and it should be known around here , that if those cars are as well seen as they are , and with the price of scrap as high as it has been , then those cars , if they were obtainable , woulda already been gone , but , I did check it out , and they are not for sale , "Gonna fix them up some day"...
So his kids will sell them for scrap when he passes. Keep in touch with him, and you might get lucky.
I drove by there and spied that ol' Iron in the woods. It's like some sort of CARDAR we all have ! ! Couldn't tell what the cars were at 80+ M.P.H. P.S. - just don't tell the Police I had the Radar Detector on all the way through VA ! ! ! I got a ticket for 87 in a 65 and having a Radar Detector back in 2005. VA is no Fun ! ! Happy Hunting. VR&C.
Isn't it amazing? I need glasses for everything but i could spot a for sale sign in the dark without them
