Anyone going to any of these. I'm taking the Corvair and my son to some that are closer to us. http://www.carshownews.com/national/WI.htm
You've missed the biggest traditional hot rod show in Wisconsin two years in a row now, and it was on your list there for last year.
...how bout just south of the border...the 5th annual S**** Drive Show & Swap in Belvidere, Illinois?
I hope to have the Model A done this summer to drive to a few shows. Symco was great last year! I definately will be going again.
So you would not have the car in the show.. but to see the grounds and the real hot rods and customs that show up is definitely worth the trip. Even as a spectator.
Iola for sure If you get down to the Milwaukee area during the summer make sure to check out the Gus's Wednesday night car cruise on the famous Highway 100. The Harley Museum does a cool cruise night on Tuesday nights also Jefferson in spring and fall Cheaterama at the Nite Owl diner late in the summer/early fall is a must see Tons of car events in the greater Milwaukee area...not too close to you in Manitowoc but maybe you can get down this way? Have a great season!
Didn't meet any H.A.M.B. members at Gus' tonight. I was driving a customers super clean track day Austin Healey Sprite.
I was at SYMCO, unfortunately not with anything cool Still an awesome car show though and the food at the near by bar was great. Also the mini-bike drag races were quite entertaining.
