Gonna have to pass on it this year. A mentor and very good friend of mine runs AA/GS. Out of respect for him as well as the other racers of group 1 my family and friends will not be attending the March Meet. Dragfest is no longer going to be at Famoso either. The owners of Famoso are doing more damage to Nostalgia racing and loosing more money than they can imagine. It's sad to see. I grew up at Famoso and loved going to races there but greed and poor management have killed my desire to spend any more time or money there.

i hear what you are saying,if i want to see some slow cars, i'll go up the street to fontana, i dont want to travel 4 hours to see a bunch of customs either.i'll just have to wait to see the AA/GS cars run at the reunion at fontana.what a shame !

I'll be there 3 days. Either hanging w/ a couple race teams or on the K rail shooting.

I also was sad to hear about the AA/GS gaffe. Those guys were the main attraction for me. But I have other friends running both gas and nitro there...

Any racers coming from overseas to run at March Meet?

They cut 4 classes a/fuel / aa/gas / junior fuel / and 7.0 pro . 3 of these classes are heads up classes ,that only leaves 2 heds up classes at the march meet.
