I dont think Tyler will mind if I put together several of my favorite threads here. I have had the pleasure of meeting Tyler and his Dad, Bob several times in the last few years. And it was these threads that really got my blood flowing and I was amazed at their family history. Thanks Tyler. Wow. At a loss for words at how cool Nanny is. Got to be the coolest grandparents ever. Thanks for bringing this back up, Rich. The cool meter has pegged out. You are a lucky sob, Tyler, but you already know that. Funny, my paternal grandparents were Nana and Pop, but nothing to report.
Thanks for putting the threads together,Slim. They represented the east coast very well. One of my favorites from my youth.Tyler seems to be a great guy along with pop.
Love the Lees, saw them a lot. Nice role models for a teenage kid. A husband and wife working together, my wife and I have worked together for years. I think the Lees are part of that, like I said, they made a real impression on me. www.highspeddmotorsports.com
wow...what a fantastic set of threads, and more importantly, the family history and spirit is amazing. Did your Nan ever have a go at racing/driving over the 1/4, even just for a try? (note: guessing by her involvement I expect so, she was amazing) Excellent story, is there a part 5 or 6 as mentioned in 4? would love to see hear more. Cheers, Drewfus
