My 34 3 window body is painted and on the frame

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Flathead 34, Feb 23, 2011.

  1. I am glad to see the body painted and back on the chassis for the last time. I thought I would never get to this point. Still a ways to go. I think of all the hours of hammer welding, tig welding, metal finishing, and block sanding. I guess it pays off in the end. At least I can start seeing things going back on the car.
I enjoy the machine and chassis work alot but I hate all the polishing and buffing, its dirty work but part of the job. Anyway I thought I would post my progress so far. Thanks

Flathead 34 is that the original color of the car? It looks very close to my 1933 which is a Canadian built car and that color seems to be only on Canadian production....

I envy you so much. That is one of two of my all time favorite cars, the second is a roadster of the same year
