Ok so i recently found out the set of dome pistons i have laying in my garage are 302 pistons, or at least i think can some one clarify this for me L2209A, i was thinking since i have a standard bore 350 and these pistons are standard, that i would get main spacer bearings to run a SJ 283 crank, i also have a 64 model 283 maybe it can be bored .125 over, anyone got any ideas?
You could do that or snag a larg journal 327 crank and build a hot 327 out of your 350 block. A 307 crank will do in a pinch.

I do have a large journal 327 crank, its not forged though, and a set of 327 350hp pistons, there dome, but the wrist pins where bad on them, and the machine shop my dad had took them to had trouble pressing them out and told him that they couldn't be pressed, so most likely i would have to find a set of new pistons, i think a 301 would be very different and unique.
Get 262 crank. It has 3.100 stroke, mill .020 off piston top, this well put piston at deck,us 2.100 5.7 rods press pins, heads 350 with a little port work com. around 10.5, cam .500 lift check V to p good springs, make over 400 HP at 7500 300 in + 2-4s X 9000 = 600 hp Good luck
I have built 301 using a 283 crank in a small journal 327. LT1 rods and I think Phase 2 cam. Way back when the limiting rev factor was ignition. Those engine would turn until the points started to float. I guess with modern ignition they would turn close to 10 grand. Been almost 40 years. Now I just play with flatheads and smile when I hit 4,000
