1950 Chevy: How do I remove the "cyclops" gauge cluster?

    I looked through my shop manual, and I can't find a durn thing about it. I tried looking around under the dash with a flashlight and mirror, but I don't really know what I'm looking for! I'm planning on taking it out and retrofitting some new 12v gauges in its place, refurbishing the letters/decals and such.

    !B)K3how!Wk~$(KGrHqJ,!jYEv1+0FPMLBMMTpSEtK!~~_12.jpg i removed one years ago from a 49,,its not too hard as i remember,,theres four bolts of some kind that hold it to the dash,,wish my wagon was at my house so i could go look at it,,but i found a pic of one so u could see the brackets that hold it in.hope that helps a bit

    The choke and the throttle cables have to be removed and two fasteners on the chrome trim on each side of cluster. See above pic for fastener locations. You have to stand on your head or remove cover behind regulator for a better view. Good Luck Gus
