What to do and see in Scottsdale or Phoenix

I will be in Arizona this weekend...any Car or Bike events happening? Cool places to see? Shops? Divebars? Or?

There is a pretty cool [cars, live rockabilly music, beer garden] outdoor show in Chandler this Sat. Not many traditional cars.
Later Sat. @ 9p there is a blues music deal at the What the Hell Bar in Apache Junction.

 

Scottsdale Pavillions car show is every Saturday afternoon/evening. There are other car shows around town depending on where you will be, it's a big city!

 

the weather is great to take a couple junkyard strolls. pavillions is always a safe bet. there is a show every sat night at 83rd ave and lake pleasant pkwy in peoria( northwest valley), and speedworld for some drag racing. traffic is gonna ****, nascar is in town.

 

Both are worth the effort.

Scottsdale:

• McDonald's, Scottsdale Pavilions Shopping Center, 3pm-10pm, 9140 E. Indian Bend Rd. (Pima & Indian Bend Road)

Mesa:

• Cruisin' on Main Street presented by Hot Rod Planet and Concerned Mesa Cruisers (Country Club to Mesa Dr.) - 4th Saturday of every month - 6-10pm - Info: Lance 480-229-5691
