Hey rob-redm say that side cover got it excited till I saw it was for a flat six. I need a one for a 223.

  2. I think we were all in shock of seeing the sun up here in the NW that we forgot to take any pic's, plus the fact the winds along with cold temps kept the hand deep in the pockets. Heard the score was the 32 Ford grill shell being picked on Friday for $50 and later resold for mucho bucks. :)

Post pics when you can for us poor slobs on the east coast![/QUOTE]

Got in a fight with my Sweety the week before, so we were making up, and taking a road trip up in the mountains instead of goin'. Had to bite my tongue the whole time about missin' the Swap. Didn't want to start another fight. Sounds like you all had a great time. Oh well, Monroe is right around the corner, and I'm gettin' a booth. See y'all there.

  9. ok already.....
The only picture I took Saturday in route to Puyallup was taken on Hwy 167 early in the morning with the bright sunshine hitting me on the left side of my face, and I'm hauling at about 65mph taking a picture of Mount Rainier. Ya should've been there, it was an awesome day.

  10. For those that don't know that little "bump" in the photo rises well above the 14,000 foot mark. These clear days are rare in our long dreary winter, special treat especially on a swap meet weekend.

Nice shot. One of the things I love about living around here is the view.

I thought Mt. Ranier was cl***ified as dormant like Mt. Baker:confused: (the last eruption of each was supposed to be in the late 1800's)

Baker, Rainier and of course St Helens are all cl***ified as active by the USGS. Baker vents steam periodically, Rainier has magma flows that cause earthquake swarms. I believe most of the major Cascade range volcanoes are still considered active including Hood, Shasta and L***en.

Im saving my $$ for portland. Monroe is always good, I bought my 33 pickup there last spring. I dunno if ill be able to make monroe though :(

  24. Like I said, I bought a tail gate from Marty (DYNAFLASH_8) at the Swap Meet. Despite the cold temps the sunshine got me motivated enough to work on the truck box. I cut 5" out of the middle of the front, drilled out the spot welds holding the 3 stake pockets on, cut 9 inches off each end of the side panels, leaving nice, fresh, straight metal. Cut 2 1/2" off each side of the tail gate, and rear cross piece. Ordered up new stake pocket to replace the missing one for the rear along with tail gate hinges.
Mounted the brake pedal ***embly along with the booster and throttle pedal. Had to modify the steering shaft. Used parts from GM column, and another Honda p***port. Lenghtened the shaft 16", added another U-Joint, and welded in a Heim Joint to act as an idler.

The highlight of the whole swap meet to me was watching Marty (Dynaflash_8) Rock, Paper, Scissors, some poor guy for the ranchero hood he had for sale. Cl***ic.

  27. Sorry I didn't get to see that. I bought the tail gate Marty had for a 55-59 Chevy Pickup, paid him a twenty dollar bill, thanks Marty.
Here's what it looks like now after cutting 5" from the width and about 6" from the height and making it work on my 46.
