holley carb id---help

    i have a holley 4 bbl with the following numbers on the air horn. can anyonyone id this and what cfm. numbers are 80454 and underneith that is 1250. thanks

    You have too many numbers BTW. What you are lookinf ro is the top number. It should say list before it like this one.

  4. Try posting a pic of it it may actually be a Ford carb. make sure you post the linkage side as well as the p***enger side. it will help in ID.

    Does it have a carb tag by chance?

    OK I found it I think I wasn't far enough down the list. The list shows it as R80454 a 4160 style carb 600 CFM. It should have vac secondaries and by the style I'm going to guess side hung floats.

    Snap a pic or two anyway so we can be sure I'm giving you good information.

    I have one like yours, they don't all say LIST. Perhaps we have older Holleys.
     

  7. I think there is a distinction for carbs that came bolted to a factory car at least someone told me that once. I'm not sure so don't hole me to it.

    That is where a pic would come in nice Fords and Chryslers for instance had different linkage to handle the kickdown for the ****** for instance.

    With that kind of number I think thats a factory installed carb if im not mistakin.

    newer Holleys sold into the aftermarket have 5 digit numbers and no "LIST".

    You already got your carb identified didn't you?

    ....it's a 600 cfm 4160, smog applications from 70s Mopars
