Hot Rods Galaxie taillights

Does it matter much on brand of aftermarket taillight lenses on a galaxie? I know I have found some globrites and another no name brand. Is there much difference in look or function?

 

its just red plastic dude, as long as it fits you're fine

 

just remember back up lens in tail light was a option have had some of both on the same car..............jmtc

 

Years ago the Glo-Brites were a not as dark of a red compared to NOS/original and would fade out after a couple of years in our New Mexico sun. Not sure if that is still true - been avoiding them like the plague after a couple of sets went bad way back when.

Ok I thought someone may have had a real bad experience. I don't need a ford number just red and not pink lights. Fading shouldn't be too much of an issue since it is garaged
