i found a 40 ford coupe with a 427 complete engine,51 gmc pickup,a harley on a lift and 6 flathead blocks,numerous manifolds and carbs.the woman is losing her house and i need to buy all the stuff in the garage and want to know what the blocks are worth.im probably going to offer 10 to 15 grand for everything but all i want is the ford.let me know if interested in anything.her husband was an engine builder and gearhead but he has passed away and she said he told her everything was good.ill know more this coming weekend and try to post pics of some of the stuff.
ill know more next sunday and get pics.the wife said he was a hoarder and most of the stuff came with him from cali.years ago.the stuff is in il.west of chicago.im trying to come up with cash to offer for the whole garage load before they kick her out of the house.i just dont want to buy six flathead blocks and wrestle them onto the trailer if they are not worth much.the harley looks to be a bagger from the eighties but cant get to it until sunday.and the gmc is all there just needs resto.
