Man, That is some great news about Larry's Ranchero. I just hope his son finds some way to protect his Dad's history.

Awesome news and I'm soo sick of these fucking tweekers who steal anything that aint goddamned nailed down. We got them in small numbers but we do have a shitload of"Rockheads" though which pretty much do the same shit.

A methamphetamine enthusiast. A meth addict. They have very visible physical appearances and behaviors.

  12. A person that is under the influence of methamphetamines and is in the middle of three projects at the same time none of which will ever be completed........

  13. In California.. If they are only charged with the vehicle thieft or recieving stolen property, They will be out in a few months MAX! If they are able to charge them with the residential burglary, they may get more time. If they have an extensive criminal record.. That MAY buy them more time..

Tweekers are miserable pieces of shit that are too spun out to know they are fucked up..

Congrats on getting the car back! I hope Jr eventually agrees to one of these offers and the Watson stuff is safe again. And I hope whoever spotted these guys and called the cops gets the recognition they deserve from Larry's fans. They're heros, in my eyes. Now let's not give up on the Pomona roadster - you never know...

    Taken to a new level.

Example: They caught a tweaker under a tank of anhydrous ammonia with a cordless drill and a bucket. He was trying to steal ammonia for meth production.

Unfortunately they stopped him before the drill bit made it through the tank.

That is good news' Hell, I had one stolen by a tweeker and it was half painted
with a spray can and several screws were remove from the inerior for no reason.
Luckily cops saw it half painted and figured it out.

If they look anything like the link that socalmerc posted I don't think they will be banged. Unfortunately.

I was really pleased when I read that Larry's Ranchero was found safe. I haven't had any word on my '32 Roadster (ref: HAMB thread: Roadster Stolen at Pomona). Friends combed the Big 3 Swap Meet today in San Diego, and not so much as a lug nut. I'll be there myself on Sunday to snoop. Roger and Eryk - ya done good guys!

So who is prosecuting this case and how many people have called the prosecutor and talked to him about what this car meant to many people around the world. whats his email.
these boys more then likely will as for a pblic pretender and plea bargin to a lesser offense. If the prosecutor is being pressured from the outside he will not be as lenient.
Pressure on his office is a double sided sword. side 1 if we piss the prose.cutor off by flodding his email and phone he wont retaliate against the community/us his anger would go towards these thieves he has to deal with while side 2 says this case is under the public eye as is his public office/ position. my past says send me a picture of these pricks and 1 day i will send you a pic back. my new life says we can bury them and never get our hands dirty. They more than likely have had their arrainment (72hrs).
so they are now in the system this means their names are now pubic information!

See page 7! Gee, when George AFB shut down how many labs opened up in Adelanto in all those vacated houses. Just because a bunch of yuppies and their larvae moved to the upper dessert dosn't fix anything. It just means MORE VICTIMS.

I am just curious...WHY NO LOJACK IF THIS CAR IS SO IMPORTANT??? I have it on my 1970 Chevelle and my 1988 Honda. It's a sure way to get it back right away. There have been many happy endings with LoJack equipped vehicles. And I don't sell them, I'm just sayin'.

when my car was stolen they pulled the vinyl top off and took most of the trim for it.. a few random screws missing, the door sill plates and the jack (but not the base for it that held the spare down...)
