Frank Hamer stood in front of the car shooting into the windshield, other guns used by the lawmen were a 12 gauge shotgun with 00 buck and a 30-06 BAR. I have to agree that the Whiskey pete car is not THEE car.

As far as the ornament, looks like a goose to me and was probable after market!

just trying to figure out the ornament...

Are we looking at A or B? I cant tell if the ornament has a splayed tail and/or splashing water, OR is it a plant in the background that is making an illusion?? What do you think?

Cadillac/LaSalle had similar "Heron" mascot. Considering the car's era as well as the pic it's not hard to imagine ****gin one on to your old Ford back then. It could also have been aftermarket as suggested from a company simiar to if not JC Whitney. Here's a Cad/LaSalle, see if it matches better than the other ideas...

I've seen some pictures of her were she didnt look half bad. They said she had a double heart tattoo on her thigh that was used to positively ID her body. Now come on, a red headed tattooed chick whos toten around a sawed off Remington shot gun!!! whats not to dig about that? That all spells HOT in my book.:D
