Looking for input regarding the many wiring harness kits available before I shell out those hard earned dollars. Your opinions, experiences regarding ease of installation, features, quality of construction, etc. I'm getting ready to wire up the COE. Its going to be pretty basic but there are lots of choices in a pretty wide price range. I appreciate your help. Chuck

Sorry, I did try the search function and when I typed in "wiring kits" I got a return "sorry, no matches found". I did go back and once again searched for "wiring kits" and this time I got every thread ever posted which included the word "wiring". Perhaps I am doing something incorrectly when I'm trying to search, but the results haven't been helpful as yet. I am going to check out Rebel Wire though. Thanks Von Rigg Fink for the tip.
Another vote for Rebel Wire. As I've been working on mine, I've had a few questions. The instruction manual has the phone number for the owner of Rebel Wire and he's answered every time I've called and has been a huge help. It's nice to call a "tech support" line and get a guy without an Indian accent who really knows the wiring kit inside & out because he's the guy who makes them.
That's because the search functionality on this forum, like many other forums, is not exactly something to write home about... I've found if you want to search this site, do an advanced google search (http://www.google.ca/advanced_search?hl=en), type your search phrase, then enter jalopyjournal.com in the "Search within a site or domain" text box. Results will be way better. As for wiring harnesses, I like ron francis the best. Here's one of my previous posts on it: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4354228#post4354228
