well I got tired of walking in my garage and seeing a empty space were my 29 once was(sold it) so out I went to find a complete model a
well a week later I had bought a 1931 ford coupe that is 100% complete from head to toe, evan has the package tray still in it

Ill get more pics today to show off, it was dark when I got back to the house last night.....only panels it needs are the front cowl bottoms that I can tell
Ok on to the awsome find......I was going solo cause I couldnt get anyone to play hooky from work to get it with me so I was on my way back from texas and I was taking the long way home via all the old small towns in oklahoma, I was keeping my eye out for old tin when I spotted some old cars off in a field, well I turned around and drove up to the drive to get a better look and on the gate said salvage and had a sign that said keep out....so I scratched my head a minute and decided to take my chances and knocked on the door of the house closest to the gate and low and behold it was the owner.....I asked If he mind If I looked around and he said no just no smoking and dont open any doors or hoods because he has gotten alot messed up because people leave the hoods up and doors open so I asked is there more than just the few I could see from the road and he said"son I have 40 acres of cars" I about passed out.....didnt have time to get to evan 10% of the cars because I was still 2 hours from home and didnt want to unload in the dark
i did snap a few as I rushed around.....plan is to go back saterday and spend some time all his stuff is 50's and some 40's stuff

Sounds like a great day. Sure don't see anything like that around here. Maybe occasionally a yard full of 80's - 90's cars if that.

I love the 31 one day maybe I'll own one. Have to clear out some o/t projects first.

Why do people just sit on old cars? I wonder if that is changing with Fleabay. That's a beauty.

I think this guy has been posting on the CL selling some good projects. Pictures look the same...been meaning to run over there.

  26. Nice score ! I had a friend who owned one back in the early 60'snd would ride with him after closing the gas staion from Boston to the Cape and back just for fun. Just great hearing tha 4 banger chugging alongon the hiway. Back then the road was empty. Today you would not have as much fun 'cause around here its rush hour all the time.

Nice project! Know how you feel, just sold a 29 that was finished stock. Was a fun car. Had it about 18 yrs. Sorry, it won't let me upload pictures. I'm currently driving the 31 pickup.
