Chrysler or dodge v8?

    Hi guys im new here!:eek:anyway i picked this v8 up for a couple of bucks,the guy i bought it from said it was a 318 windsor chysler 5.2 v8,i opened it up and took a measurement and it certainly does'nt look like a 318 the bore is 90mm and the stroke 95mm,can you guys help me out?i dont want to go now and buy the wrong parts. :confused:

    Just by the head, looks like an old poly engine to me

    Yep poncho62 is right and it's the early mid 50's version before the later 318 type poly. ***uming your bore/stroke dimensions are approximate they are close to 3.5" bore and 3.75" stroke and one of the Chrysler guys on here will be able to tell you what you have. A rough calc gave 289 cubes but I don't know offhand what sizes there were in the early polys.

    KDS=325 Dodge/DeSoto 1957 It is a hemi short block with poly heads.

    Put Hemi tech index in search. Also a 315 build on webrodder. 315 & 325 is a high deck Dodge engine.
