This years Winter Slide Show will again be held at Zandrie's Stillwood Inn on Route 5 in Wallingford, CT. If you take exit 13 off of I-91 from either direction, you will come down a long exit ramp. Take a right at the end and Zandries is 800 feet up on the right. The show starts promptly at 7:30 but get there early to get a good seat. Snacks and drinks will be available.

Just got the word that there will be racing at Orange airport reunion this year, I believe it will be flag start for about 330', only four different cl***es with exhibition cl***es as well.

 

Yea brad Id like to do the orange reunion but unfortunately it's the same weekend as winterport, so I dont think il make orange.

Just heard last night....Leadfoots Poke-Her Run June 4th!!

 

ITS A GO! Saturday night JUNE 18th (between the Winterport G***ah Drags and Owls Head show) From 5pm-Whenever! Cruze over to Nana's Kitchen on RT 1 in Northport (about 25min from both shows) More details to come! ASAP!

Maine in June the 18th and 19th! Looking like a great weekend to head North! Three great events On saturday there is the g***ah flag start event at Winterport an awsome old school 1/8th mile track and day 1 of the owls head show then NANA's Kitchen, and Sunday the 19th is also a hot rod show at the museum.

I am throwning a lil cruze night saturday evening at my Mom's diner (Nana's kitchen http://www.nanasgoodeats.com/ ) thats located right in between the track and the show on RT 1. Anyone have any thoughts on going or are going and would come to a cruze night?

Just confirmed, Second Annual Cruise to Hampton Beach, NH hosted by Kustom Kings of NH benefiting American Legion. June 11 with a rain date of June 12.

 

Darn, I cannot attend the Orange airport drags this year. I will be out at Watkins Glenn. I already have my hotel reservation (not refundable). I don't know if I can be ready to participate but I am working on that. Either way I am going to be out there.
I am not sure I can even make it to Ty-Rods either. If someone takes pics I would be happy to post them on my picture site.
