So I'm getting sent to mirimar CA tonight and will be there untill april 3rd ish, what's going to be popping off car wise on the weekends? Any locals going to be wrenching on stuff? I'm not trying to bar hop to much and would like to see what's up with the west coast scene that 8 don't get in podunk NC.

i live in sd not too much goin on,yet...im always wrenchin on sumthin,tryin to find a garage to rent so i can have a "homie" shop to wrench and chill... if u just need someone to kinda show u around a bit or whatever, hit a brutha up....have fun in sd......

I dont think the cruises have started yet, but In El Cajon on Main St, every Wednesday night, La Mesa Blvd in La Mesa on Thursday nights and in Escondido, dont remember the street name, but every Friday night there's a pretty big cruise.
March Meet would give you an eyefill of Hot Rods and Race Cars. I could always use help on my digger. Been runner up 2 of the last 3 years, not attending the third one due to work comittments. Friday nights after work hot rods converge at the Malt Shop on Midway Avenue in the Von's Shopping Center.

The biggest and best car show during this period that I know of is the Good Guys show in Del Mar, April 1-3 !!!!!! Make sure you go !!!! Confirm it on the Good Guys website or on socalcarculture.
