I've got a cruiser project in sight ( tin woodie) it is in good shape, but will need repainted and the body wood graining will need to be repainted. Has anyone done the wood graining paint work. How hard was it to do, as a first timer? How well did you graining turn out? Pictures would help ease my mind of how your first shot of woodgraining looked. Thanks:cool:

Check out Grain it Technologies. They are the only ones that I know of that sell the original wood grain plates and rollers. It is the same process that the factories all used.Looks the most authentic and realistic, and the learning curve is not to bad.results are far better than the brush method,I have done both! www.Woodgraining.com Here's a few pics of a dash and heater that I have done with there products. Same process for exterior woodgraining.

Had the dash and garnish molds done locally down under. A bit dusty from sitting in the cupboard.
