Not in motion, but Tulsa....Note Troy Green's car. THIS is a nostalgia top fuel car, not what you see at "nostalgia" meets today. Troy said, the new cars are so much easier to drive. That's not the point of it though, is it? I hate the new cars with a purple passion, and being front motored does not a slingshot make...

One more from Big Daddy's...another old rear engined car, this one another sidewinder. They really weren't all that rare....

This looks a lot like the "Mag-Winder" that Kent Fuller built for Chuck Jones and driven by Jack Chrisman...it was built from magnesium tube, supposed to be ligher than chrome moly, though Fuller had to heli-arc it because the mag powered when Fuller tried to weld it with regular arc...it was originally painted pearl white with a blown Pontiac ...ran on gas at Lion's, where I first saw it....like most sidewinders handling became an issue and it disappeared...never saw it in these colors, but the wide front axle and the body give it away.

Wow, that is an extremely rare shot of a car ran for only a very short period of time!
