Heres a few vids my daughter got of my elemination races. The first one is Dennis and i.The second is my Dart running down a hotrod (not sure who it is ).The last is the "Qaud Qaud" Olds putting me on the trailer .I was only .04 off my dial and he was .05 ,but his .10 to my .22 reaction time sealed my fate ...

It was great to talk with you to man.It was kinda ironic that you and i were discussing are dial in's match after match against other racers and comparing notes ,then we had to face off .I have alot to learn yet about Bracket racing to get on a winning level ,but i will get there with help from good competetors like you :).BTW ,how did you get that pic of your Olds from the race online ? I want to use mine as my Avator ,since i bought the real deal at the track already and its hanging on the wall in my living room right now...

All the racers really gave it hell today! Herb was his usual crazy self and how many of you saw "7 Deadly Sins" yanking his wheels up? They called the "Black Mariah" an "exhibition car"...well all I saw him exhibit was a big can of *** woopin! Too much fun! "Black Magic", "Skull Orchard" and so many others running strong. Thanks Ken and all the rest of the Torques for a fun weekend.

Yep, there was a lot more interesting cars there today for sure. Love seeing all the less common motors running like the MEL, Olds, Mopar, blown flatty, Ford straight 6, and others.

The g***ers had a great time, froze our ***es off in the morning but not to bad in the afternoon, a ***** to tune a methanol car to the weather... only went 3 rounds and fell off as the warm air came in... oh well, it was a great start to a new year for us .... it was my first thaw and i really enjoyed it. not sure about the slow *** full tree for purpose built race cars and fast tree for the others... ..thanks to all who do so much to make this deal work ...

Great time as always and well worth the drive from San Antonio. Thanks to the Torques for another great year. Ken / Tony - it was good seeing you guys and look forward to next year. Thanks to Dennis and Robert (Tri Five Kings) for the good fajitas Friday night.

Good to finally get Doc back on the line and get a good race in. Doc - Sorry to hear the margarita machine is froze up. We'll have to beat up on these alky guys next time around.

I blew a head gasket Friday night, but came back and had a few great runs Saturday. That's why I was having to tow my truck to the starting line today - no water in the block to keep it cool.

It's always a fun event with Hot Rod Bill, Rick, Tim (Yo baby), Shocker and Skotz around. Hey Bill - What do you think about the K-Mart blower now? Catch ya'll at the next one. OH - Sorry Bill, you probably won't catch me.

Was a great time at The Thaw, thanks guys for another great event. I was impressed with the Kmart blower, just wish they made better head gaskets.
