Well, we got a lot done but still have a lot to do,just wanted to drive it to our sho w on Sat, and a big thanks to my friends Stephan and Robert for doing so much..thanks guys
Thats cool man! At first I had to let my eyes adjust so I could tell what it was I was looking at...! I like.
Hopefully thats a good thing. We still have to do the new grill and surround and smooth things out some more before the black cherry paint
It was a '70s B-movie about a car possessed by the devil that ran around killing people. Great flick. Love the air horn before it squashes people.
That's got be one of the coolest things I've seen in years. I'm utterly stunned. That there's thinking way outside the box. Your car rules, you're a genius.
Man, that car looks bad ass... even better than I imagined it. Looking forward to checking it out at BS&G on Saturday! -murph
NOT ONLY REALLY CREATIVE . . . BUT WELL EXECUTED. DAMN COOL, MAN. how about some construction photos. . . please, please, please.
awesome !!!!!!!!!! ..... you say you have a lot more to do ..... what are the other plans ? i like it so far ....... that would look so bitchin ona set of caddy wires .... pricey but they would look so right on that car ....keep up the good work . very creative .......AND very fitting as the riviera was supposed to be for cadillac originally .....i am just blown away .....
very cool... looks as though you just cut off the front section of the fenders and put the riv lights in?.. nice job.
Those are the fronts of 64 Riviera Fenders. Looks like they are grafted in at the wheel arch? Or is it just the "Buckets"? Just guessing by the transition from flat to shiney. They look much better here than they did in my shop.
Wow, I wasnt expecting all this good response, so thanks guys, it means a lot coming from all of you!
That might happen AFTER finishing the bodywork, paint, interior, new top,and chrome...and maybe airbags.
All these positive replys are making me feel all mushy inside I actually thought I would get bashed for it being a "late model"
i mentioned wires when he was talking new wheels a while back. i really think they would make the car. there is a guy out of sc that was selling the caddy repops at a "decent" price, seems like around 250 each, on ebay. 250 aint cheap but it's better than 400 per for buick wires. thats actually went down a bit to as they now throw in the spinners as where you used to have to pay another 240 for a set of them. being cool ain't cheap. hahahaha. anyhow errol thats coming out just as nice as i imaged it when you told me the idea. i could picture it in my head and it hit just like i pictured it. go eye for thinking that way. hell the funny thing is it's not even that major of a mod yet it completely sets the car apart. to bad i won't be seeing it this weekend. buying a motorcycle and other commitments put the brakes on coming. that just means it'll be that much further along when i see it a hrw i guess...ken....
The bashing usually applies to those late models that are decorated up like an early model. IMHO you made modifications that go with the late model style of the car. Looks fantastic. The bumper is Cad? I like how it matches up with the headlights, like it was made that way.
Those lights look like they grew there. Very nice work. Now lets just hope that nine thousand other people don't do the same thing!
