Quick update.....Both bodies are ready to have their ch***is swapped. The green car needs a couple patches but alot will get cut out of the black car.
Yes, Mother Nature does indeed need her *** kicked. Snow and ice this morning.
And yes, the last tree will come down this weekend. Winter wasn't too kind to it.

As far as the trees , I used to be a logger. So I say log it , burn it and pave it. I am glad you are making headway and you have some nice helper's.

Picked up new door gl*** today. Trans is done and will get bolted up Mon. Hopefully (weather permitting) I can get these bodies swapped this weekend. Scored a free (!) Mustang gas tank. After these small tasks are done, it'a all downhill.

Black car off the frame and gone. Brake lines need to be re-routed. New body mount brackets made. Gonna clean it up and paint it satin black. Engine n trans in this weekend. Got until June 4 to get it safely drivable. I think we're on track.

Body is on. Fuel and brake lines run. Trick ****** cooler hidden. Upholstery half done. Floor patches next. Jen got her first hot rod part ever today....B&M floor shifter. It took 16 yrs but I think I've finally corrupted her properly.

made new firewall pieces today to cover alot of unsightly holes. New fuel lines from pump to carb. Neighbor kid came over and dug out rusty floor chunks yesterday. This week, floor patched and front sheetmetal hung and prepped for patchwork. Radiator will be in. Hopefully enough $$ for a wiring kit.

I know it! Even no more pics in today's update. Front fenders and hood are on. Body bolted down securely. Starting to look like a car. Figured this car had been hit at some point right at the front fender/driver door seam. Hood hinges fit like ***. Door and fender line up like double-***. It'll all work. Jen is super geeked. That makes me happy!

After serious lack of motivation lately, not alot has happened. But tonight Jen re-lit the fire under my ***. Made a gas filler and welded it to the new Stang gas tank. Made all the patterns for trunk floor patch pieces. By weeks end I'll have the trunk area done and the patches for the floors done. Out of funds so guitar stuff is for sale. Really ****s not having a rod to drive ( first year since 2000). I need my fix.

Holy smokes.....2 months later.....Front end sheetmetal on. Floors done. New trans hump w/new shifter. All the windows work. Wiring all but done. Jenny has been sanding and painting panels one at a time. Been working when time (and money!) permits. She wants to take to Autorama Detroit in Feb....She wants to DRIVE it! Man, do I have a keeper or what?

Damn it! This ****py 10 yr old computer won't let me post pics. Tomorrow......
