    If you were to paint just the roof, then you still really wouldn't have to worry about door dings, chips, and such. Just a thought I had. I like the <dreaded word to some> patina.
     
  8. The "Before" picture looks as though somebody drove it to where it was sitting when you found it and just parked it. Glad you got it instead of the s**** metal man. Feels great to fire it up and take it down the road, doesn't it?

    Chico, I wiped it down with wax and grease remover and rattle canned it. The head gasket is com-metal and a 2 piece rubber gasket. Thanks for the kind words. This build went together with no problems almost like the car was helping me:confused:

    Saved another one bro! And great job on the build too. All You would find in the woods of California would be used rubbers and empty beer bottles .LOL!

    I been puttin some serious miles on Deloris! Put about 350 miles on her a couple weeks ago and my buddies let me lead the pack.This thing is a frickin blast to drive! Heres a couple pics, Later
