Opened the front door this morning to get some more wood for the stove and found this, so much for spring.

Yup, spring has sprung here. I came on down to Texas from Kansas 17 yrs ago and I don't miss the miserable snow stuff one little bit.

The rain the weatherheads promised went just to the southeast of us and we then got 2 flakes of snow. It's 45+ outside now.

I'm seriously considering it. I'm electrician with oilfield experience. I'm in Fort McMurray, Alberta and it's -32*C /0*F this morning I'm sick of this ****. I was in DFW a few years ago and loved it.

Got 14 inches on top of 2 inches rain yesterday which of course froze under the snow. Was plowing this morning, got stuck twice, shoveled out once and had to get yanked out for the other.
Not to mention I went down like a ton of **** on an ice patch.Gonna be sore for awhile.Taking a break and heading out for more plowing, snowblowing. This has been one long f'n winter.
I am at the stage in life where winter means nothing but hard work and lost time at doing the stuff I want to do.Pretty much 5 months of every year wasted.

Hard to believe how cold it is some places. It was 80 degrees over the weekend here and supposed to have a couple days hit 87 this week.

My wife asked me a few days ago if i thought that we would get any more snow this year. She thought spring was here because of all the rain and t-shirt weather we've been having. Then she didn't believe me when i said that we would.

Thats what she gets for doubting me!!

Al Gore was seen running away from the television with his fingers in his ears yelling "na-na-na-na-na-na-I can't year you! I can't hear you!"

Yea that's why I moved here to Chattanooga,Tn from Syracuse,Ny, just enough snow and cold to remind me how much I hated living in the north, P.S. it's been allmost 70 degrees here for a month now, and rained only once or twice....
