1964 Fairlane 2 Door Sedan G***er "Whine Maker"

Does anyone have any info or history on this car? Believe the car was light blue in color with funky striping - Think it was raced from the late 60's through early/mid 70's?

It had a bad top end accident with another 64 Fairlane called "Cheese Grader " Someone bought the two and made one car. Called it " Happy Hour "

Great info... thanks. Was the car originally from New York then? Any idea of what motor or anything like that the car ran?

    from nowhere...

I owned it as well. The pics above must be George, I sold it to him, after we resurrected it, and got it running again.
We took it to Atco once, and ran a 13 something, during the Philadelphia Modifiers event. It had no tuning, no converter...it was kind of hurt, but I think George cured that. We had just gotten it running after sitting in Ohio for who knows how long, bringing it home, and made one p***, and pinholed the old radiator. On the trailer it went, then off to George, because I wanted to build a coupe, and needed cash. We found it near the Kentucky border, in Ohio, behind a little garage. No history, that I could ever find, but, I've always wanted to find out more, too!
It had an 11.20 dial on the window, when we found, IIRC...

appreciate all the info... the car is once again for sale and the current owner had no history for the car so i knew i could count on the hamb! from those of you who know the car, what do you think a fair asking price is? from the looks of the pics and stuff, it doesn't look like it has changed much.

btw... yeah i fell for the humor, he got me! haha

It sounds like it is virtually the same as when we had it.
The motor, when we had it, ran, but it seemed tired.
Not sure if anybody went through it since then, but, it ran o.k., not an unbelievable powerhouse, but o.k....
We did not play with it for very long, however, I imagine George made much more progress than us with it, and he is on here, too, I think "Falcong***er"???

Honestly, I seem to remember the body being super-solid, but, the wheel-wells where done pretty poorly.
otherwise, pretty nice. I loved the hand lettering, and the funky old "Ben Pilla"-esque color scheme...

I think we bought it for $ 3500.00, and put maybe a couple cases of beer and about $28.00 into it!
I'd be hard-pressed to put a value on it, now, since prices are all over the place lately.
It IS a sedan.....speculation surrounded it's possible heritage.

I think George felt like it might have had a M/P past, but, the axle doesn't jive with that.

I suppose it had been a bracket car prior to our purchase, since it had a dial on the window.

Yeah, it sounds like a bit more than I'd wanna go....I guess if I were in the market, I'd be thinking more like $ 4,500.00 maybe 5, if I really had to have it. It was really solid and tight...
