I need help to identify this adapter Early ford trans to?

    Hello HAMBers can someone help me on this adapter? It looks like a small bolck ford 289-302 to a early ford trans? The two holes on top are 6" apart were a SBF is 5.250? Any ideas? Y-block? nailhead? olds?? Only number I could find were A ?? - 4..

    I believe it is for the 5 bolt Ford small block pre-64 (260 ci).
