Oh **** what a day. It's been a Media Circus around here, what with all the TV vans around, helicopters flying over, cameras flashing, I'm wore out. Charlie Sheen and I are big news, hope I don't start doin crack!

 

Thanks for posting pics, I wanted to be there badly but the gas prices shot up after I'd done my budget for the month and I couldn't squeeze the extra bucks for the 800 mile trip.

If I wasn't planning on being at the Fort Worth Good Guys and the Lonestar Round up in the next few weeks I could have made the Texas Thaw trip, hopefully next year!

Funny part was when you came down out of that wheelie and just looked over at Cane and I on the fence smiling your *** off!

I looked over at you before we went into the water box and you gave me the thumbs up.Something told me you were gunna do it big that time.I was right and im glad i left a little later than you did .I heard that little Chevy screaming as the lights where coming down then looked out the window just in time to see the bottom of your front tire at eye level as i launched.I wish i woulda had my camera mounted facing out the window like i did when i raced John at the DOTD last Fall .It woulda been a vid that made people wet their pants .I was trying to drive and laugh at the same time ...

 

Not really sure what happened on that one Robert.I thought i was way off my dial in at first because Dennis was ahead of me at one point then slowed down at the stripe ,but i couldnt tell if we had crossed the line yet or not.I looked out of the corner of my eye and saw the win light .Dennis has more miles logged in backing off the trailer than i do going down the track ,but wierd things happen sometimes.Dennis pulled in behind me in the pits and shook my hand ,which i thought was real cool .I totally expected him to beat me though ...

 

that's my sentiment. i especially like the "**** off" reverse lights. lol...
