Thank God the shows around here are catching up. Only problem is the "trendy" kids and their RR's are about 5 years behind. Don't get me wrong, I love the expression and imagination but as the saying goes "just because you can don't mean you should". Here's some of the cars I liked.
This thing was a feature car. The craftsmanship was very good but it looked as if the builder kept changing his mind. There are too many different styes at work here.
Very nice show. Wish my eyes were better, or blame my small monitor... Does anyone recall what engines were in the fenderless 33/34, also the electric blue 32, and lastly, the dark pink channeled 32 roadster?
Some cool stuff there, hopefully we can build up the "old school room" even bigger next year. Maybe by next year I'l have both my cars in there.
Here's a link to the Old S'cool Review Room at the same show...It was the first year for it. Some pretty neat cars showed up for it... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=558437

theres a lot of nice cars there, 'cept for that green "thing" what the hell is that? thanks for postin it
Yeah the show was one of the better local indoor shows in recent memory. Just not a fan of some of the cars in the old skool room. /\
Check Message #18 in this thread: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=561083&showall=1 for details on the 394 Olds engine in this car, with pics provided by the builder. Even those exhaust manifolds were custom built to look like castings. Frank C.
