    Illuminated Tyres
A woman adjusts her stocking by the light of the new Goodyear illuminated tyres. The tyre is made from a single piece of synthetic rubber and is brightly lit by bulbs mounted inside the wheel rim. The Goodyear Tyre Company intend to produce the tyres in a variety of colours.

Two years from now, they will be required equipment on all new vehicles as a safety device.

well hell, they have glow in the dark tires, ones that smoke in colors, and ones that smell nice. Why not have ones that light up too.

A device that lights up and draws women over to fix their stockings? What's not cool about that?

some would say that those tires are a distraction and would cause accidents due to people looking at them when driving but personaly i think that they would help prevent accidents. due to actualy being able to see the car from the side at night.(nothing like t-boning a car because you claimed you didnt see it) im probably gona get flamed for this but. i have neon under car lights on my motorcycle so that people can see my motorcycle at night. its alot easier to see somthing big lit up then it is to see a few small lights lit up.

Here is Nads answer regarding the car from the previous post. He's got a kick *** Capri custom:

"It's not a Ford Capri, it's a Ford Consul Cl***ic 315 sedan. The bottom half of the 2 door body is the same as the Capri, the roof is different, a hardtop coupe."

The feds required side marker lights in 68 for better side visibility. It is a damn good thing those goofy ***ed neon under car lights didn't exist back then or, they might have become required by the NHSTA. Aircraft landing lights won't stop some people from running yer **** over. Tires that light up? Bet they worked real good.

When women quit wearing garter belts there was no more demand , the lights went out.
