I must be doing something wrong! I tried to "post" to two sellers on parts I want...but no reply. Please Help! What am I doing wrong? Hunter

 

try sending them a pm

 

your not supposed to be posting on the ads themselves. you should be sending the seller a PM "private messeage" i just checked and you have 2 replies on the hinge ad that are still there, the others might have been deleted for violation of the posting rule.

i also noticed that the ad you are posting to was put up in January, so they might be gone.

Yes your doing it wrong
If you’d read the rules you’d know to send the man a message and not to post a replay on the ad. In doing so you have moved relevant ads off the front page … ******* off people that actually have thing for sale.

The ads your asking about are old 1 - 30 - 11 & 12 - 18 - 10…. think there still looking at them?
If you send them a message they get a blinking red flag they cant miss

 

I guess, technically, he is following the rules. He posted he wanted them, even waited three days to post it again.

But still, These guys are right. One of the sellers was on as recent as yesterday and even posted on the other recent thread regarding the cl***ifieds.

Don't ***ume people are checking their ads daily, or even at all if it's an older ad. If they subscribe to every thread they post, and select to receive an email with that subscript, they would get an email.

Most don't know/do that though.
