54 chevy question

    I have a t350 trans in my 54. can I get a speedo cable for the stock speedo to mount to a t350?

    I don't have one. will the original work with a turbo 350 trans?

    mine is for a monte carlo, 1985 ish. a little long, but works.

    edit: specify no cruise control. there are different ends.

    When i worked at the parts store, the book had the combination of ends on the back as well as the lengths available.
    The hard part will be finding a parts guy willing to go through the trouble of looking unfortunately.

    Go to a parts house and get one for a 69-70 Chevy PU with 3 speed or auto 2WD. Will work fine. Tell 'em truck has RED wheels!! LOL

    Most Chevy speedo cables have the same ends on them from the 1930's on up. If a cable from a '54 is long enough, then use it. Otherwise try the later model truck as suggested.
