Man, you really nailed it! How much of a chop is that. Is that 2 stage paint, or single. What color black is it - mine is midnight black and I've sprayed some dupli color on it and in the sun it has a brown tint to it. Please continue to post pictures of your progress - Thanks

looks great can't wait to get mine this nice.By the way thanks for the wood chisel tip on th rear fender seams worked great ,everyone else had told me to just grind them off.Your chisel idea was easy and they came right off no damage.

  8. I used Lacquer so it is single stage, and it also looks a bit brownish, in the sun.
As for the chop, check out the link with the build thread I started last year, it should say how much I chopped it, I think 5" in front 6" in rear.

I think all the superlatives already got used up but I do believe you nailed it on that one. It should really be great when it's all back together and finished.

Hey Chris! So much for stimulating the economy!
You chopped it yourself....so there's one guy not making any money,
You did the bodywork yourself...so there's another guy not making any money,
You painted it yourself...yet,another guy not getting any work!
Now,you say you're going to do the upholstery yourself!!!!
If you start talking to yourself...you won't need friends either!!!!
I'm starting to get worried!!!! hahaha!

Just messing with you buddy! I've said it before...you are one very talented guy! You seem to have a knack at achieving any goal you set! I'm sure this Shoebox will be just as stunning as the Coupe is! can't wait to see what you do with that '36!!!!
