Has anyone used an S-10 Blazer (108" WB) under a 47 - 53 Chevy Short Bed Pickup, without lengthing the Blazer frame? Did you shorten the Pickup Bed Side pannels to fit the Blazer frame? How did it look?

    Thanks,

    Roy

I think all of the ones I have seen have used the S10 P'up because it can be shortened to any desired length from 118+" (LB/EC to 108" SB/SC) or even shorter if needed.

  3. The one you need for your 49 is the 118 inch S-10. You don't have to shorten it. Came under a short cab, long box truck. The stock wheelbase is 116 and 1/2 inches, but the wheels aren't centered in the wheel wells. The 118 will center them. Pat.

The Blazer frame generally isn't used because it sits about 8-10" taller then the truck frame IIRC, something along those lines.
