1949 Hudson Commodore build

    Been after this particular hudson for almost a year when the chance came down to trade a truck for it i jumped on it. Picked her up(dubbed Betsy) with no motor and interior shot pretty good. Got a SBC 350 sadly not the original super six or 8 but it'll work for now. Oh yeah she's my daily driver.

    Redid the rear doors with the beautiful red marble my wife and I found. Also recovered the dashboard, installed a new th350 trans with the 350.
    Added the shifter,interior light and red accents on the body.
    Haven't gotten quite as far as i want yet but as any gearhead full time mechanic knows. Your car is the last one to get done.

    I would get a battery box if your gonna ride around with a gas can in your trunk

    I love those Hudson's. I hope you will paint it shiny when you can afford to, that car deserves it.
