Bulfather, Not sure what you are asking, but if you mean time frame I would guess between 1955 till around 1958 or so. I'm talking about the 37 Ford coupe 69x. Don,t know on the other photos. Denny Z

  7. Denny, don't think I've seen that car before, wondering how long it sat for, maybe in a barn for 30 years. Just seeing if it had info.

Every once in a while I come across internet images of modifieds which I don't recall having seen here.
Which of course does not mean that they've not been posted here, just that I don't recall them. Then again, there are a lot of things that I don't always recall, such as where I have been, or where I am.
From now on, I'll try to post on here either a sample of the images or at least links to the sites.
Have we had on here any images of this baby, as driven by Glen Wood:

restored and sitting behind, I believe, Glen and Bernice Wood:

Dozens of images of original and restored Virginia modifieds, such as this thing of beauty,
    [IMG]

can be seen here (incl. Hensley, McGinnis, Brown, Harris, Radford, Hendrick):

Speaking of the Wood Brothers, they have a Flickr image site here:

which has a ton of images. Most are of their modern Cup efforts, not of modifieds, although there is this:

    and this:

    and a couple of others.

Have people seen the Catamount site?

    http://www.catamountstadium.com/Coupe_Compe***ors.htm#Manchester CT

Not sure whether this image, for example, has been here:

Kind-of connected to the Catamount site is an Airborne site,
    http://www.catamountstadium.com/airborne_speedway.htm
    with more images:

and many others, which you may have to poke around a bit to locate.
The Catamount site also has links to many other northern NY, VT, and NH circuits

    Then there is this site:
    http://www.thevintageracer.com/
with various stuff, including a lengthy section comprising the s****books of Ralph Rose. It includes many vintage photos, such as:

    (Runt Harris)

    and many more.

    Apologies for any repeats.

Does anyone remember the Bugs Stevens fan club cartoon strip? I still have a number of them from when I was a kid, great stuff.

Wasn't it a regular feature in NESS for awhile?
I remember seeing it in different issues, and always wondering what about it was supposed to be funny (apart from the drawing of him, which, as we can see in your example, was good). Not being a Bugs fan, I ***umed that the humor was of the "inside joke" variety. Even now, I don't get it!
