Researching windshield options for my '29 A roadster and these are the two directions where I'm leaning.

The white car's set-up I like a lot. Simple. I found the on Tano's FB page. Would like to know exactly what I'm looking at. Help a brutha out...How much of a chop would you guess this is? Anyone have or seen anything similar to this?

The second car I'm digging is Nick Garfias' ride with a Seller's Equipped Duvall style. Like it too, but would love to see one chopped down an inch or so. My roadster won't be highboy style, so I'd like to run a shorter set-up, but similar. Any thoughts, opinions or pics are appreciated.

This third shot is my car prior to its complete teardown, as I got it from Ian Loska years ago. The windshield was plexigl***, with severely leaned back posts. Like the shortness of it but feel the sweep is too aggressive and the "plexi" is not something I want to keep.

Here's my car in its present form and a link to my build blog, which is moving rather slowly compared to most on here. Thanks for any opinions and insights.

the second one looks cool but it would be annoying getting bugs in your mouth!

  3. the way your car is currently mocked up i would lean towards the duvall style, i think it would match your car's profile..... .02

I like the Hallock/Duvall style. I used a heavily chopped stock windshield on my old rpu & my poor boy version of the Duvall on the new one. There is definately less buffeting with the V shape. You'll have a great looking car either way. Good Luck.

    Troyz,
Hadn't even thought about buffeting. I've liked your car for some time now. Just looked through your entire gallery. Your RPU is amazing. If I understand you correctly, you've had both a duvall style and a chopped A windshield and you prefer the duvall? What are your dimensions. It looks shorter than a Sellers, and I like that. About the buffeting. Was your chooped A windshield a foldout or fixed? Appreciate the info.

I'm having a similar dilemma in my head in regards to my own roadster. Subscribed.

DO you ever plan on running a top?

I'm not a "Facebooker". Any way to see that registry for us old folks?

I like this windshield, but I get tired on long drives with the wind in my face all the time.

For my money the Hallock style screen has too much metalwork and looks too heavy.
