Sunday Model thread 3-13-11

I don't have any thing new but my 8 year old daughter just finished her first custom.

 

OK! Heres one I found on Epay and redid!. It was pretty bad. Someone made this from a AMT Double dragster by extending the frame and adding two more motors from another double drag kit. Mel

Here's tandem tanker truck I did a couple years ago. The tractor is a Nylint, I fabbed the tanker chassis from shortened Nylint box trailer chassis. The tanker bodies are scratch-built. Hope this isn't too O/T.

Love the double/double dragster!

 

Here's my latest 1/8 scale build using only the frame, suspension, wheels and tires from kit stash and the rest is rapid prototyping 3D printed, resin cast, and scratch built. Still planning on printing a set of Hudson twin H power air cleaners to it and calling it done.

sizzler, that's a great model, I like the different engine choice, etc., very nice work ...my shop here is called the "Acme Garage"

 

All very nice builds! As I have said before....one of these "Unbusy" days...I'm am going to try and put one of things things together!

 

I tried to make my motor look like a caddy. The dizzy was in the rear so I put it up front but couldnt get it to jam in there sideways. haha
