I have a 1928 roadster pickup, stock body. I found some fenders off a 1930 roadster. will they fit? If not does anyone know what fenders will fit for my Rpu? Just Rpu specific fenders or closed cab also?
    thanks

Not shure what you need to do to make them fit, but I feel the '28-'29 look a lot better than '30-'31.

The 30-31 will bolt to the frame. but that is all that's similar. It is a totally different shape, uses a different support bracket and different apron, so no, yo can't mix them up unless you also change the brackets, aprons, and possibly headlight bar (not sure about that one)
On the plus side they are a couple inches higher so you can lower the car a couple inches more before the tires hit the fenders.

REAR FENDERS for 28-29 and 30-31 Roadsters/Coupes/ and Pick ups look a lot alike, but the splash aprons were different and will not allow you to swap 28-29 and 30-31. You could bob them for a hiboy without any problem.

If you're going to run bobbed no problem.
In fact, I have a pair of bobbed rear fenders on my 31 on 32 rails roadster. One 29 and one 31.
The 28-29's are 1" wider than the 30-31's.
There will be some drilling required to match the fenders to the body, but that's about it.

I have a nice pair of stock 29's waiting in the wings.
A few p***es with a die cutter and they'll be good to go....:D
