    Well it sure isn't a 351w or boss as indicated by valve covers

    Looks like no one can identify the mystery motor pictured above. Additional pictures are posted if you want to try your luck.

    Ray, tks for the input-I'll send a quick email on this. No big deal, it was great fun anyway. We just think folks would like to see a 57 Chevy lined up against a 57 Ford/Mopar/ etc. and run 'em dead even.
    If that happens I've got to do some engine work-my buddies will be waitin' for me.

    That would be good but the only problem would be to find them with original or same motor size. Most chev's now days have ls1 or more or 400's fords go with the 390-427 or install a 460. Thats the only prevention from a good heads up but I am for it.

    Skotz did you find the problem with the fuel and what's up on the shifter pin? Haven't heard if you got it worked out or not as yet.
