Read the post. I do remove the wallmart stickers but dont try to hide my alternator,battery, plugwires, clutch and brake masters,radio, etc. at least since 1957.wake up.
Optima, I'm not even sure how long it's been in my car. Never been charged. Every spring I go out and hit the ****on and go for another year.
There are only 3 companies making batteries in the U.S. for all the retailers go by price and warranty!
Regarding my battery: I Trickle charged it overnight and it read 13.01 on my voltmeter (Surface charge). Hydrometer read 4 good and 2 fair (Outside) cells. This August it'll be 13 yrs. old, no complaints! Tried to get the same Diehard but the part number was discontinued (#37062). I looked for same size (Group 62) with same rating (CCA 610 & CA 750) no good. Looks like I'll have to make another battery box, only bigger this time. I'll probably buy a Duralast from Auto Zone (Easier to find while traveling). Thanks for your replies guys!
