damn, why do these show up only when Im broke?... I'll probably still go to drool over all the good deals I wont be getting!

  4. Applekrate, It looks like you need to update your Show and Go banner to 2011. So the swapmeet is on Sat. the 19 and Sun. the 20th?

  5. Curbspeed- I don't run the Glendale swap meet. It is this weekend. My deal is Sunday April 3

Over the years, I have got some of the best, smokin deals at the GCC 2 day meets. For those not familiar with them, there are normally 2 of them per year. One in the spring and the other in the fall.
This is in addition to the monthly swap meets they have there. Those are good too but, the 2 day swap meets attract more swap vendors from further away.
A few years back, I cut a deal there on an old air compressor and am still using it!
Highly recommended, Saturday is usually the better day of the 2 but, if you cannot make it Saturday, it is still worth going on Sunday.

We'll have event flyers for the April 3 event at Speedworld available with a few of the vendors.

    See you there.
If you are coming from the east valley, I think it is best to take the I-17 north and get off at Dunlap and head west. Dunlap turns into Olive. Make a right at 59th ave and it is on the left side. Easy to find.

  6. I will be there on sat only with alot of traditional hot rod parts. cleaning out the garage.

  10. ha ha, you got a couple of days to cough up some money! You know what happens when you go to a swap meet without any cash..... you always find something you really wanted and end up kicking yourself because you are low on dough..

  13. I'll be looking for, among other things, some tires, another body hammer and an air compressor working or not. It all starts in hours...

  14. Well? does anyone want to report in any deals they found and bought? What about those who sold stuff? and there is still tomorrow.
As for me, I bought a pair of bucket seats for $40, a pair of tires for $35 and some misc small tools.

Any good finds? There was a llot of stuff there.

I went both days lookng for 9 inch stuff. Gears case stc. I don't think I've ever gone ot a swap meet where the 9 inch center sections (good ones and bad ones) were falling off the trucks. Not when I'm looking. One complete set up with a back up case and gears etc but would only sell the whole lot together. And one younger kid (19??) telling me how his case was the strongest factroy case they made and it was even tested by sopme guy that tests metal for strength. WAA case? He said it was the WAR case?? Anywho. Just bought some shinny pretty lug nuts and washers. Oh, and a tran smount. Big score guys. But it was a nice day both days. Mark L

Haven't found any listed in the usual websites. But I'd thought I'd ask.
