Foppa,I believe those are repop bullet turn signals for Harley with clear lenses.Nice bullet shape that will do for now.I`m looking for a pair of Electroline side markers or such with more Art Deco feel to them.If anyone has a pair I`m interested!

+1 I swear the extra dedication it takes to build an old American car overseas keeps you guys from compromising anything about the build.

Great job. I love these '40s-style customs.

I want to thank each and every one of you for your nice comments, what a gentle crowd we have here..I would have settled for"Nice street rod":D:D
I`ve been balling with different ideas how to chop it but haven`t decided yet.I love how Skoty chopped his 35 Plymouth but I`d like to try a different approach, maybe a little more from c-pillars.Dunno..Hardtop?Don`t know about that either..I just love the B-pillar treatment on Nachtfalter Merc..One thing for sure,I`ll thin the(door) b-pillar.It`ll give side windows a better proportion.
5W coupes are hard to get right, mainly cause the short doors and the fact that the crown is right after the b-pillar.Any ideas are more than welcome. But it will be chopped!

This is one I chopped 2 1/2" from back in the '80s. It's still just a sketch, I've tucked it away for later. I'll bring it out again some day. Bob

The pics in the first two posts do not appear for me. Anyone else having an issue? I would like to see more, from the avatar shot it looks like a cool car.

It's already a fantastic looking car. Use those side shots and have someone photoshop every different type of chop you are considering. The top mods will be critical to the beauty of the final outcome and that will take a lot of the guesswork out of the process.

Very very true.I`ll keep that in mind, thanks!

I like this, thanks James D!!How about taking half inch more off the a-pillar or adding half inch to the C`s.Might help to keep both side windows proportioned? How about it??

Your car looks beautiful. That is the way a car is SUPPOSED to look! Keep listening to that inner voice. Very cool.
