im going to be doing air ride on my 60 dodge dart and wanted some advice from some people who have done this before on a torsion bar suspension. there may be something on here but i didnt see it. thanks in advance.
little help needed in the same department. Friend is trying to bag a 65 newport convert. I'll be watching to if you get any info, if we do I'll let you know. Good luck.
I did a 62 Chrysler wagon for a guy about 10-12 years ago. I've been bagging since 94, and that wagon was a head scratcher because of the room (none in the front) but the other issue for me was he didn't want it down very low like I'd like. Just not much room, and the front shock were a ***** to get to figure out, but again this was over 10 years ago that I did it, so I'd look at things alot diffirent nowdays. Cause since then I've prolly literally done 100 other cars/trucks. Guy still has it to this day and he told me he's put over 100K miles on it since then (does the power tours and just drives the **** out of it) with zero problems. I'd have to revisit doing one again, but it can be done. Remember this was done awhile ago and this is how low he wanted it the back is bagged on leafs with no c notch just all the way to the frame- This pic is aired all the way out, and its got 15" wheels and big tires on the front, and really, really big tires on the back.......
i heard of people havin issues baggin the mopars, im runnin 20's and would like to be pretty low, i guess itll be trial and error on this setup...thanks for the info...if anyone else can chime in that would be awsome
