  1. Did a search, got some good information.

Looking to get imput, on what has worked the best for you !
You can get the easy wiring harness, or the adjustable more expensive.
The easy way locks up in 4th gear only, if I read the info correctly.
With the Divco and it's 4L60 / 3;55 gear , I want to controll 3rd at times. So I'm leaning, more to the more expensive harness.
    I'm I thinking correctly ?
There is no problem with the 502 luging During lock up in thrid.

The only time you really need lockup is when cruising in OD.

Can someone please explain how the lockup converter works?? Its hard to read through a lot of the nonsensical stuff I've found online. I get that it physically locks the engine to transmission so there is no slippage, but whats this about a wiring harness that's needed? How does that tell it to lock up?

The lockup is controlled by a solenoid. Lockup is used for mileage and cooling the trans fluid. It's like slipping the clutch on a manual trans until you take your foot off--locked up.
