Do you remember driving "bumper cars" when you were a kid at the amusement park?

  1. I lived in CdM, Then Balboa Island and the Peninsula from 1971 to mid 80's. Spent more than my share of time at the Fun Zone. Would love to buy that and set it up in a warehouse. how fun would that be!

I went to an amusement park in Korea for my 20th birthday. I was in the Army at the time. Me and my buddy went to get in the bumper cars and they were designed to fit people with a smaller size so we could barely fit into them. Because it was raining like crazy not many people were there. A bunch of the male workers there jumped into various cars and had a field day smashing into us. I wanted to remind them we were on their side. I was in the bumper cars at Old Orchard Beach in ME. last summer. Good times.
