p*** side mounted most of the major fab is done just doing the frame on this side and raise the x member then its complete dis***embly sand blast, kbs coat it with a semi gloss black top coat, and powder coated parts throw some new front end parts at it then get to the motor. keep watching, im hoping to have the body back on by this summer.

allright heres another small update, so after kicking around what i was gonna do with the shocks, and fearing i would have to eliminate the sway bar, i think i solved the problem and can retain both. so i was detoured on where i routed my brake hose, but that can be retained also with a little changing in the frame mount bracket. so heres what i did with some s**** tubing and the tiny bit of gas i had left in the welding tank.

first i made the lower mount out of o s**** piece of 2x3 3/16 wall, took a inch and a half cut and split it and drilled a hole on each end.

the mount actually came with with the rear shocks, they worked perfect for mounting off the control arm.

then out of the same tubing, i made the upper mount along with some of those left over universal 4 link tabs.

i had to make sure the lower mount was out of the way of the tierod through the turning radius and it has a minimum od a half inch clearance at the max turn through the range of motion. i also mocked up the tire to make sure every thing was clear.

ok a little more done, made a cradle for the gas tank and worked on the front bump stops , im going to modify the plate that comes off the frame a little bit, so ill have to cut the tackwelds and do that . i want the frame to clear at least an inch and a half fully deflated in case theres ever any kind of severe failure as a fail safe. one thing is for sure i wont build the next notch so high, so heres some pics and stay tuned.

been slowly starting the clean up and rebuild process.this stuff isnt as exciting but its a part of the process. i inspect wash and completly clean anypart being reused, heated and bent the steering arms, rebuilt the rearend the rear brakes, the kingpins, the centerlink the mastercyl. etc.made new rubber bushings for the control arm shafts, completly cleaned out all the petrified grease and replaced all zerk fittings. im sandblasting and cleaning all the parts in the witchs brew then painting everything. the rear of the frame is done and just a little more blasting and cleaning in the hard to reach areas and the rest will be done. hope to have it re***embled soon. so hope fully more pics soon.
